HTC has today put up a teaser on its Twitter handle depicting a “U” device coming soon. That is on August 30, 2018. You know what that means, don’t you? Well, it means the HTC U12 Life is coming. This device has been floating on the rumour radar for a long time and HTC’s teaser ends the doubts once and for all.
Gizchina News of the week
The device will be a successor of the HTC U11 Life and it’s a mid-ranger. As per previous hearsay, the U12 Life will use a 6.0-inch Full-HD+ screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio. A Snapdragon 636 SoC is understood to be underneath the trunk and it is reasonable to assume 4GB of RAM while rumours suggest a 64GB storage on the upcoming device. There’s also micro SD support expected with it.
We’re yet to see the device in leaks but the rear camera is said to be a 16MP + 5MP duo and the front will house a 13MP sensor. Moreover, a beefy 3,600mAh battery is speculated to be on the device.
In terms of design, the only clue we have is a schematic from early this month and that’s not enough to paint a good picture. Are you interested in the HTC U12 Life?
