Real Images Reveal Unknown Moto Smartphone With Waterdrop Notch

The smartphone market consistently asks for more which force manufacturers to innovate anything. The notch display idea actually started with Essential Phone sometime last year. Towards the end of last year, iPhone X came with a notch only that it was bigger than the Essential Phone notch. Since then numerous manufacturers except Samsung have favoured the notch idea. However, the iPhone X-like notch is now giving way for the Essential Phone-like notch popularly called Waterdrop Notch. This display has been found in a couple of devices and speculations show that more are coming.

Today, a mysterious Motorola device appeared on Weibo with a waterdrop notch just a few days the company launched its first notch device – Moto P30.

Gizchina News of the week

This smartphone is tagged Moto G6 Plus but this is quite confusing as the Moto G6 comes with the regular notch-less display. Also, there is another smartphone with a wide notch dubbed Motorola One. This could be a variant of the P30 which till date is the only notch device from the company.

The rear of this smartphone has a circular camera setup on the back. These leaks ask more questions without answers. The authenticity of these images cannot be verified as of now, so let’s keep our fingers crossed and take this info with a pinch of salt.
