Last month, Chinese manufacturer, Xiaomi, released its new tablet – Xiaomi Mi Pad 4. A few weeks later, the company dropped its sibling, Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus which comes with a bigger display and battery. Today, Xiaomi released a very important update to the Pad 4 which comes with Xiao AI.

The biggest highlight of Xiao AI is its support for voice control and users can finish complicated operations with a single sentence. Xiao AI can handle tasks like playing videos, music/story selection, controlling smart devices, and other things functions that you may not want to do with your hands. In addition to Xiao AI, the update also fixes the camera performance issue and improves its stability.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 is an 8-inch tablet which was released in June 2018. This device is considered to be one of the best tablets for watching videos because it is equipped with a rich content support.  It debuted with a 1099 yuan ($166) price tag for the 3GB+32GB WiFi while the 4GB+64GB WiFi model and the  4GB+64GB LTE version costs 1399 yuan ($211)  and 1499 yuan ($226) respectively.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 has dimensions of 19.90 x 13.20 x 0.80 cm and weighs 320 grams. The screen uses a 16:10 aspect ratio, a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a pixel density of 283ppi, and a contrast ratio of 1200:1. In terms of key features, the tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 660 AIE processor coupled with various memory options as stated earlier. The memory is expandable via a TF card up to 256GB. In the camera department, it is equipped with a 5MP front-facing snapper and a 13MP rear-mounted cameras. Under the hood, it carries a 6000mAh battery supporting 5V/2A charging and this battery life is one of the attractive features of this device. According to the official statement, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 can provide up to 12 hours of video playback, 15 hours of reading, 8 hours of playing games, and 10 hours of shooting.
