The Redmi 6 line that consists of three smartphones is due to be official in India on the 5th of September. These three models include the Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, and Redmi 6 Pro. As per a tweet by Xiaomi’s India head Manu Jain that contained a video clip, it was revealed that two of these phones would not sport a notch. And the third one (Redmi 6 Pro) would come with it. Now, a new teaser was posted today that reveals dual 4G VoLTE capacity of the phone.
Xiaomi India tweeted in a post on Monday with the words, “Dual VoLTE’s HD quality” followed by “Ab high-speed video data performance ki full-on guarantee.” Obviously, this is a much-needed feature now when carriers in India are switching to VoLTE to compete with Reliance Jio. Hence, users will be able to put VoLTE SIM cards in both slots and take advantage. This feature was not present in the Redmi 5.
