Well, that didn’t take long, did it? After only a couple days from Xiaomi’s president – Lin Bin – revelation about the upcoming Xiaomi Mi MIX 3, we now seem to already have a first look at the handset in a “leaked” video.
If you really can’t wait to check out the video, then push the play button below!
So, as we can see from the video, the device on tape is almost certainly a Xiaomi Mi MIX 3. It does indeed look pretty much exactly like what Lin Bin shared some days back over on Chinese social Weibo.
Gizchina News of the week
The alleged Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 sports a very similar design to the Oppo Find X, but just like we saw for the Honor Magic 2, the camera lifting mechanism is manual, which can be both a good and a bad thing depending on personal tastes. Honestly though, we definitely prefer this design as it will reduce risks of killing the motors in the long run, plus it does look freaking cool, reminding us of the cool old-style slider phones.
Aside from that, we can see that the Mi MIX 3 still sports a not too slim bezel below the display, which probably means they’re using an IPS panel and no curved AMOLED display like what we find on the iPhone X, which is what allowed Apple to completely remove the bottom bezel.
Other specs on the Mi MIX 3 will include a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, at least 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and hopefully a larger battery than the high-end sibling -Xiaomi Mi 8.
