Gizchina News of the week

Today, Huawei’s Chairman, Liang Hua, gave some insights into the company’s progress with 5G technology development at its 2018 Operation Transformation Summit. He said that Huawei’s 5G network will be matured in 18 months. This implies that all 5G devices from the company should be expected from the end of next year. According to Liang Hua, the digital transformation of 5G tech takes at least 18 months to achieve initial results. The digital transformation is starting at the right time, because in the next 18 months, 5G technology will be mature, and the transformation opportunity cannot be missed.

He suggested that in order to successfully achieve the transformation, operators should choose a business scenario as a breakthrough point. It has to quickly form a business scale but start small and focus on the big business.
