Our best guess will be the Snapdragon 845 or if it chooses to look downward, it should settle for the Snapdragon 710. This smartphone will be a budget version of the Mi 8 series. According to the report, the camera department of this smartphone is consistent with the Mi 8 and Mi 8 Explored Edition.

Xiaomi Mi 8 On-Screen Fingerprint Edition: What to Expect
Just as the name implies, this version should come with an on-screen fingerprint sensor. As of now, only the Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition uses the sensor and the others in the series comes with a rear fingerprint scanner. The other specs will be consistent with the Xiaomi Mi 8. This smartphone is expected to be more expensive than the current Xiaomi Mi 8.
This is actually the first time that we are having reports of an additional device on the Mi 8 series. It is most likely that there would be other slight changes in these smartphones. However, nothing has been officially confirmed or hinted thus we advice that you take this information with a pinch of salt.
