Well, now there appear to be a real alternative to that and it’s of course coming from China, we’re talking about the Alldocube X. The X is an Android tablet that uses the same 10.5-inch 2560*1600 Super AMOLED display as the one on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, while being much more affordable.

The tablet’s goal is to be the go-to device for high quality entertainment thanks to its Super AMOLED display and AKM HiFi chip coming on board.
It runs on the advanced Android 8.1 Oreo OS, has Pump Express 2.0 quick charge support, comes with an USB-C port and a 8000mAh battery. On top of this, its selling price is only a third of Samsung Galaxy Tab S4.

The Alldocube X looks up to Samsung, no doubt, but that’s a good thing as it makes it the first tablet from China adopting a Super AMOLED display.
This is a really ambitious move for the company and we do appreciate it. Trying to deliver something people definitely want and that nobody else had the courage of doing before.
The Alldocube X is currently a crowdfunding project on Indiegogo, close to reaching 1000 backers soon. As the platform shows, the product is really interesting and it gained a lot of popularity over the time. Not just because it tries to be on par with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 in terms of display performance, but in other aspects too.
