Huawei Mate 20

User-agent profiles of two unannounced Huawei devices have been spotted on Huawei’s website. The profile reveals devices with model number HMA-L29 and another with the model number LYA-L29 both of which have been tied to the Huawei Mate 20 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

The news then is that the user-agent profile revealed that both the Mate 20 and Mate 20 pro will have features that match the Huawei P20 Pro from earlier this year, and the LG LG7 ThinQ. Specifically, information obtained via the user-agent profiles show that the Huawei Mate 20 will have a 1080×2244 Full HD display resolution, and an aspect ratio of 18.7:9, while the Huawei mate 20 Pro will take it a notch further with 1440×3120 Quad HD display resolution corresponding to a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

Both devices are expected to come with different display sizes, with the cut-out for the front-facing camera, but obviously not of the water-drop type that has since featured in a number of smartphones from China. We also know that One or both of the phones will come with an on-screen fingerprint reader; a 42MP triple-camera setup on the rear, 40W fast-charging and will be powered by Huawei’s latest Kirin 980 CPU, which should also make its way to Honor’s upcoming magic 2.
