POCO emphasized at the launch event that the company focused on excelling at some key features that are the core of the phone’s value. Amongst them was the battery. Gizchina News of the week
POCO’s India Twitter page just let out the info via a poster and it’s great news. The battery is already big enough to get users through a rough day but Quick Charge 4.0 is just the icing on the cake. This is in contrast to what POCO announced at the launch event. I attended the event and it was described on stage that POCO F1 supports Quick Charge 3.0. Also, this could be the case with just the Indian variants and not the global variant as the tweet was found there. However, Qualcomm doesn’t list the POCO F1 as a Quick Charge 4.0 compliant device. POCO also bundles a fast charger with the POCO F1 but it is Quick Charge 3.0 compatible.
As for how fast Quick Charge 4.0 is, Qualcomm advertises 0 to 50 percent in 15 minutes but there’s not that much of a big difference between 3.0 and 4.0. This makes the POCO F1 one of the first phones (probably the first) to support the fourth generation of Qualcomm’s fast charging tech in India.
Fake. Quick Charge is 3.0.
