POCO F1 is certified splash resistant by P2i, says POCO India on Twitter

Poco F1

Yesterday, POCO announced on Twitter that the POCO F1 supports Quick Charge 4.0 which we reported on Gizchina. Today the company shared one more pleasant feature of the POCO F1 that will please owners of the device. As per a new post, the POCO F1 is certified splash resistant by P2i (@P2iLabs). So, although this isn’t as good as IP67, it is a very good feature to have that can save the device from accidental water splashes.

There are very few phones that actually come with such a rating and the Moto G6 series is definitely one of them. But POCO F1 is the latest on that list. This adds to the impressive set of features on offer from the first ever device of the brand. The other outstanding features include Liquid Cooling for continued lag-free performance over long durations, fast charging, POCO Launcher (some neat features), and some top of the line hardware.

The handset is not without its shortcomings though. There have been some software bugs and some hardware issues as well reported by users which we mentioned in a post. However, the company has kept the community updated on the progress for fixes and also fixed a couple of them.
Meanwhile, the device will go on sale for the third time on Flipkart and Mi.com at 12PM (IST) today.
