Yesterday, Apple released its 2018 iPhone series (
iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and
iPhone XR) which does not really bring any new innovation compared to the iPhone X. It appears that the lack of innovation in the 2018 iPhones is a "thing of Joy" for other manufacturers, at least for
Huawei. The Chinese manufacturer didn't waste any second to take a jab at Apple via a Twitter post which partly reads "thank you for keeping things the same - see you in London".
Apple's latest iPhones is not entirely the greatest but it appears that Huawei is confident that the Mate 20 series will be a step ahead of these iPhones. The Mate 20 series is expected on October 16 in London and Huawei believes that its upcoming device is "beyond consistency" and "beyond intelligence".
The Huawei Mate 20 series will be powered by a 7nm process Kirin 980 but there is nothing really special to that as Apple's A12 Bionic which powers the 2018 iPhone also uses a 7nm process. However, the design, display, and camera may be the aspects that gets Huawei excited. Don't forget that the
iPhone XR (Apple's cheapest for 2018) is priced like the Huawei P20 Pro.
