Gizchina News of the week
There’s no mention for the Motorola One and neither is a launch of the handset expected.
As for the One Power, it is a powerful mid-ranger coming under the Android One program and can compete with the Mi A2 if priced rightly my the Lenovo-owned OEM. It’s the first Android One phone with a notch design from Motorola and bears a 6.2-inch full-HD+ LCD Max Vision panel along with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The processor in the driving seat is the one on the Note 5 Pro – the Snapdragon 636 SoC. The octa-core CPU is coupled with the Adreno 509 GPU.
It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is expandable to 256GB via microSD. On the camera side of things, the One Power is endowed with a dual 16MP + 5MP setup and a 12MP selfie taker. The Motorola One Power has a mammoth 5,000mAh TurboPower battery that will power stock Android Oreo.
You know what? We need every manufacturer to release at least one android one phone so that we can get the best of both worlds. I applaud Moto and LG for also taking these steps. Can Samsung and Sony be next please?
