Yesterday, we saw a leaked image of the Nokia X7 that displayed its front screen panel and unlike what we reported earlier, it did not feature a notch. Well, today we have an HD render courtesy of Mysmartprice and the HD render dispells quite a few confusions. The render is reported for the Nokia 7.1 Plus which we presume to be the global variant of the Nokia X7 pretty much like the Nokia 6.1 Plus is the global version of the Nokia X6 in China.
Gizchina News of the week
Taking a look at the renders, it’s quite clear that there is a notch on the front screen albeit a smaller one than the ones we see on the other Nokia phones. A single camera sits in that notch along with an earpiece. You still get to see a sizable bottom chin as always with the Nokia branding on it. The rear design of the Nokia 7.1 Plus is quite similar to the Nokia X6 and Nokia X5. It appears to be a glass-plated rear and it does look classy. Then there’s the dual camera with Carl Zeiss optics placed centrally and beneath that lies a fingerprint reader.
That’s pretty much to the render and as far as the source is concerned, it is pretty legit so we can at least say that there are very slim chances of this being a hoax. As for specs, talk around town is that the Nokia 7.1 Plus will feature a Snapdragon 710 SoC, bigger battery with 18W fast charge, and even Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box. There are not launch dates yet but we should see some concrete info coming out soon.
