The first Elephone’s rugged phone, the Elephone Soldier, has been already out for few days and the initial impressions are looking quite good so far. The phone can offer quite some solid hardware with few stand-out specs and seems like the makers are even fairly confident the camera performance is not going to be half-bad either.
The phone can offer for example 2K resolution display, which is quite rare for the rugged sturdy phones, Helio X25 deca-core processor, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage, 5000 mAh battery capacity, tri-proof IP68 certification, SOS button, physical compass, side fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support or Android 8.0 system.

But the makers are trying to point out also the fact, that the rear 21MP Sony camera is more than capable of taking some quality shots despite the obvious leaning and focus of the phone towards the outdoor rugged experience. The camera supports real-time HDR and 4K shooting, so you would be ready for all the capturing of the beauties of the wilderness if necessary.
Photos really fine, 21Mp and rugged phone – good combination.
