Recently, Xiong Junmin, Vice President of Honor, said that graphene technology will be used in the upcoming Honor Magic 2. Thus, apart from the numerous advantages, this will be the next one. In addition, he also stated that it is the goal of their brand to make the Honor Magic 2 a true technologically perfect product.
The Honor Magic 2 was uncovered on August 30 at IFA exhibition in Germany. Honor president Zhao Ming officially announced it, calling this handset a truly full-screen super flagship phone.
Gizchina News of the week
The Honor Magic 2 uses the Magic Slide full-screen and will be equipped with a screen fingerprint recognition module. It also adopts a new sliding screen structure, which makes the border around it narrower than ever. The official said that its structure is similar to the Zippo lighters. At the same time, this structure differs from the VIVO NEX’s lifting camera and the OPPO Find X’s two-track periscope structure. In this sense, the Honor Magic 2 adopts a simple sliding structure but it solves the issues related to the comprehensive screen and sensors commonly placed on the forehead.
In terms of configuration, the Honor Magic 2 will be equipped with the Kirin 980 chip. The latter is equipped with a Cortex-A76 CPU and a Mali-G76 GPU. The processor performance is improved by 20%, the energy efficiency is increased by 40%, the transistor density is increased by 1.6 times, and LTE Cat.21 is supported. The peak download rate is 1.4Gbps. The Kirin 980 chip is also equipped with the industry’s first dual-core NPU to achieve a recognition of 4,500 images per minute. At last, the phone will support a 40W new super-fast charge.
If this is the final design, it will be the first full screen phone! (and the first good designed Android)
No chin!!!
Hell yeah…
This is amazing…
Mi mix 3 or magic 2 👌
Forget about mix 3, this has 7nm chipset which wiil be faster and cooler!
Yup, both will be amazing though I like EMUI more…
We don’t know yet, maybe mix 3 will come with snapdragon 855, 7nm chipset as well.
Mi Mix comes out next month, SND 855 comes out next year. While Xiaomi does historically get the first shipment of 845 chips (they share with Samsung) they won’t be getting it this early. Usually they release their Mi phones right before the Galaxy phones. Last year it was the Mi 7 releasing before the S9. The year before it was the Mi 6 releasing before the S8. The rest of the industry is forced to wait on the second batch of chips. So no, the Mi Mix 3 won’t be sporting 855.. The Mi Mix 3S will, guaranteed.
