Back in May, Xiaomi announced the third generation of its fitness tracking band, the Mi Band 3. Today the company unveiled the product in India at a very affordable price of $28 (1,999INR)
The Mi Band 3 features a 0.78-inch OLED touchscreen curved display. The display is significantly bigger than the one present in the Mi Band 2. Furthermore, it has 128×80 pixels of resolution, and through the touch, button users can navigate by swiping left, right, down or up.
The Mi Band 3 introduces a new Caller ID feature that allows the users to identify the caller, long-press to decline or tap to silence. The battery is fueled by 110mAh battery, which is 60% larger than its predecessor. Xiaomi states that this battery amount can give 20 days of battery.

When it comes to connectivity the Band support Bluetooth 4.2 BLE. In the endurance department, it is certified for water resistance up to 50 meters.
The Interchangeable bands of Band 3 are made of thermoplastic elastomer, having an adjustable length of 15.5 to 21.6 cm. The bands are available in Black, Orange, and Blue color options. The dimensions of the wearable are 1.79 x 4.69 x 1.2 cm, and it weighs only 20 grams.
Among the supported features, there are heart monitor, count steps, calories, and distance. It also displays Date and Time, allow the user to read text messages, check notifications, monitor sleep, improved pedometer and monitor if the users are sitting for a long time.
Indian Users will be able to purchase it at Amazon and Mi.com starting September 28 at 12 PM IST. The product will also be available in offline stores soon.
