Lenovo’s VP last teaser was posted with Lenovo S5 Pro

A few hours ago a new teaser for a Lenovo smartphone with a quartet of cameras was posted by the company’s Vice President on the Chinese social media website – Weibo. Despite the Quadruple Camera, the company’s VP was using an unrealesed Lenovo S5 Pro to post this teaser.

Lenovo S5 Pro

At the moment this is the only proof of Lenovo S5 Pro existence since there are no more details about specs or design until the moment. If you recall, the Lenovo S5 was a midrange smartphone launched back in March featuring an old Snapdragon 625 chipset, 5.7-inch notchless display, 4GB RAM and 64GB of Storage, dual 13MP rear cameras, 16MP selfie snapper, and a 3,000mAh battery.

Gizchina News of the week

If the Lenovo S5 Pro is indeed in development, we would expect a more powerful processor, improved cameras, bigger battery, and a more updated Android version. When it comes to the processing power, we wouldn’t bet in the Snapdragon 636 since Z5 already have this chipset, would be more natural to see the Helio P60 that is a significant upgrade in comparison to the old Snapdragon 625.

We’ll have to wait for more news, so we advise you to digest this information with a pinch or two of salt. Of course, Lenovo’s VP is very known for misleading people with his teasers, so this could, in the end, be just another prank.
