HMD Global schedules another launch event for October 11

Rival smartphones makers aren’t leaving anything to chances after Apple launched a trio of smartphones a while ago. While HMD already issued media invite to a launch event on October 4th, the firm has again released another invite to a surprise launch event still in the month of October.

The event has been scheduled for October 11th – the same date with its rival South Korean giant – Samsung will be unveiling a new Quad-camera smartphone. The invite doesn’t offer any hints to what might be unveiled on the said date, but there are indications that the firm might unveil a device that can rival Samsung’s upcoming Quad-camera device tipped to b unveiled on October 11th.
While Samsung only says we should expect an important announcement before the festive season, there is the widespread belief that HMD has three unreleased phones which might be released on the said date. The Nokia 9 flagship phone, the rumored Nokia 7.1 Plus, as well as the rumored Gaming Nokia phone are all potential star of the event.
