There have been numerous leaks, rumors and reports about the release of a true flagship phone from HMD Global. The leaks and reports which dates back to 2017 have it that HMD Global might release a new Flagship phone – dubbed Nokia 9 soon, but when exactly is what remains a mystery to us. Most recently, we got the scoop that the supposed Nokia 9 flagship could come as a camera-centric smartphone, and to be precise, reports have it that the device is tipped to come with a Quad-camera setup at its back.
Although HMD Global hasn’t confirmed that, but you will recall that the firm recently acquired the PureView trademark – a branding which Nokia and Microsoft had in the past used for top-flight smartphone cameras, starting with the 41-megapixel Nokia 808 PureView back in 2012 and 2013’s Lumia 1020.
Now, via the prolific leaker Roland Quandt, the Nokia licensee may, in fact, use the PureView suffix for its upcoming flagship smartphone. Specificallyiaclly, Roland Quandt in a Twitter post some hours ago confirmed that the much talked about Nokia9 would arrive as the Nokia 9 Pureview.

Quandt doesn’t say anything else about the device in his tweet, however, previous leaks suggest the Nokia 9 Pureview could boast of not 2,3 or 4, but 5 rear cameras with Zeiss lens on it back.
