At only two weeks from the official launch, which is scheduled to happen on October 17th, it’s quite common to see some leaks about an handset. This time around though, we already have a look at the final design of the upcoming flagship killer – the OnePlus 6T.
The leaked images are courtesy of the renown leaker Roland Quandt from Germany. In the press images released we can check out what the smartphone looks like and confirm some previous leaks, such as the water-drop notch at the top of the display and the lack of a fingerprint scanner on the back or the front, meaning it’ll be packing a trendy under-display fingerprint scanner.

If you follow Chinese phone news, you’ll then also notice a similarity with another top tier handset from China, the Oppo R17. The handset does indeed sport pretty much the same design, with a 6.4-inch display using OLED technology (rumored to be found on the OnePlus 6T as well). This is of course not by chance, as some of you will know Oppo & OnePlus are more than sister companies, sharing the same R&D and factories, so no surprises here.
According to the press images we can also confirm that the 6T will be coming in two variants, Mirror Black on a glass body and Midnight Black on a metal back cover. While the glass back of the first version would suggest the presence of wireless charging, the fact that there’ll be a metal variant kind of disproves it.
Finally, the images prove there’s no headphone jack, probably disappointing a wide portion of OnePlus supporters.
