Tecno Camon iClick2 with 24MP selfie cam launched in India

Barely a month since it released the Ai backed Tecno CAMON “iAIR2+”, “i2” and “i2X”, Transson group main subsidiary – Tecno mobile today announced a new smartphone, still for the Indian market. Dubbed the Tecno Camon iClick2, the latest offering is the firm’s latest flagship smartphone which is expected to shake the under 14K smartphone segment by offering a combination of features at a price point not seen before in the category.”

In terms of looks, the Tecno Camon iClick2 and the sequel to the original Camon iclick2 looks a lot like the Camon iAir 2, Camon i2 and Camon i2X, which were launched in India last month, however, there are a couple of improved internals including an updated selfie camera among other features.

The Camon iClick2 major selling point is probably its dual rear camera setup which comprises of a 13-megapixel primary camera with a wider f/1.8 aperture, a 5-megapixel secondary camera sensor for in-depth sensing. The device is stuffed with some AI-based algorithms to enhance the images based on lighting conditions. The camera also comes with models like Super Pixel and AI Bokeh for improved portrait mode pictures.
