Amazon India: OnePlus 6T to hit the market on October 30

As the launch date (October 17) of OnePlus 6T draws nearer, there has been more information regarding this smartphone. While some speculation was highly accepted by smartphone enthusiasts (on-screen fingerprint sensor, larger battery, better display etc), others piece of information made people frown at this device (eg. no 3.5 mm audio jack). The protective case and screen guard for this smartphone is already available for pre-order on Olixar for $26.99. Now, an Amazon India listing reveals that this smartphone will hit the market on October 30th, two weeks after its official launch. The pre-order for this smartphone will definitely start earlier than this date.

Gizchina News of the week

OnePlus 6T is equipped with a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch for the front camera only. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage. In the camera department, OP6T is expected to use a 16MP + 20MP dual-camera setup at the rear. This smartphone will probably come with OxygenOS UI on top of Android 9 Pie since its predecessor, OnePlus 6, already has the stable version of Android 9 Pie. The lights of this smartphone will be kept on by a bigger 3700 mAh battery.

This smartphone is definitely coming with an on-screen fingerprint sensor but potential users will have to make do without the much-loved 3.5mm audio jack. Dual-SIM card slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, NFC, and a USB Type-C port will all be available for connectivity but there will be no feature stereo speakers and the IP rating will not be better than OP6.
