Honor 8C specs revealed ahead of October 11 launch


Huawei enthusiasts should all be focused in the upcoming duo of flagships – Huawei Mate 20 and 20 Pro – that is set to be released on October 16. However, the company is also preparing a release for a new Honor branded smartphone on October 11, the Honor 8C. The handset will be revealed in China and today the list of specifications for the smartphone popped out.

The Honor 8C will be a mid-range blooded smartphone, being the first smartphone to carry the Snapdragon 632 chipset. This chipset will be a mix of the successful Snapdragon 625, 626 and 636 CPUs, which results in a good performance at a low energy cost. The smartphone will come in two variants, one with 4GB of RAM + 32GB of Storage and another with 4GB RAM + 64GB of Storage.

The camera department will be composed in a dual-rear camera with 13MP+2MP and an 8MP front-facing snapper. The 8C boasts a 6.25-inch display with 2340×1080 pixels of resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio, of course, there is a notch on the top. While the phone is yet to be announced, it’s already available for pre-booking on Honor’s Official Store in China. Customer will need to pay $14 to be sure that they will be able to pre-order the Honor 8C once it gets released.

At the moment, there is no info about the handset price. But thankfully we won’t need to wait too long for that information.
