Chuwi Hi9 Air tablet silently upgraded to Helio X23 processor

Chuwi Hi9 Air

After the release the Chuwi Hi9 Air tablet gained quite a positive feedback due to solid specs, good battery life and affordable price tag, but the company is not done with it. Quite out of the blue they have announced that the latest batches of the tablet will be getting an upgraded processors, from the MT6797 Helio X20 we are getting the better Helio X23. Surely a pleasant surprise.

Gizchina News of the week

That means quite a boost for the core clock of the processor cores, because while Helio X20 is clocked only at 1.85 GHz, the X23 runs it up at 2.3 GHz. Rest of the specs remains intact and in place, like the 2K resolution 10,1-inch Sharp fully laminated screen, dual SIM dual standby slots, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB of internal storage, 13MP Samsung rear camera, 5MP selfie cam, 8000 mAh battery capacity, 7.9mm thickness, full metal build and Android 8 Oreo system.

Despite the welcome upgrade the price remains the same on $239.99 retail level, but currently you can find a flash sale on Amazon UK for just £189.54 during a specific time  11:15 BST-17:15 BST on October 14th. Not bad at all huh ?
