Releasing one product in different markets under different names isn’t strange in the mobile market at all. Huawei and its Maimang smartphones are perfect examples, as they launch in different markets with different monikers. This time, it’s not Huawei however, it is Vivo that has just announced a new smartphone with already familiar design and internals.
Welcome the China-only Vivo Z3i – a rebranded Vivo V11i and Vivo V11 launched in India a while ago. Other than a few internal differences, the Vivo V11i and the new Vivo Z3i are essentially the same featuring the same vertically stacked two rear cameras with an LED(with different configurations), the same waterdrop notch design, 6.3-inch IPS panel, and 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution.
Much like the Vivo V11i, the latest Vivo Z3i gets the MediaTek Helio P60 chipset under the hood, but while the V11i is available in two RAM/storage options, the latest entrant is stuck with just one option – offering only 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Inside the display notch, Vivo has ditched the V11i 25Mp camera sensor for a slightly downgraded 24MP sensor with face unlock feature.
