A couple of weeks ago, Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, released the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite and Mi 8 Pro to take the Mi 8 series smartphones to five. These smartphones are already available on various markets and recent reports suggest that the Lite model will arrive Taiwan next month. According to reports, Xiaomi will release the Mi 8 Lite in Taiwan during the 11.11 sales period and it is expected to have its Dream Blue, Twilight Gold and Deep Space Gray colour options.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Edition is packed with a 6.26-inch full-screen (2280 × 1080 resolution and 19:9 screen aspect ratio), a Snapdragon 660 AIE processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, 3350mAh battery supporting QC3.0 fast charging, and a 12MP rear camera (1.4μm pixel size, dual-core focus, f/1.9 aperture), which is accompanied by a 5MP secondary sensor. The latter is identical to the original Mi 8. It has a 12-to-0 advantage for the Huawei P20 in the AI scene recognition. Of course, this handset supports Xiao AI voice assistant.
