This afternoon, Huawei held a new product launch conference in Xi’an and officially launched two new products of Enjoy series, namely the Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus and the Huawei Enjoy MAX. Both smartphones are focusing on the thousand-yuan niche.
The Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus uses a 6.5-inch notch screen with a resolution of 2340×1080. The back of the phone is designed with a 3D curved surface, which is optimized for grip comfort. Under the hood, this handset sports a Kirin 710 processor, which comes with the GPU Turbo technology. As you know, the latter improves the graphics performance a lot. Apart from this, there is a 4000mAh battery and a 128GB of ROM.
On the back, the Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus sports a 13MP AI dual-camera, which supports smart recognition of 500+ scenes and a super night scene mode of 6 seconds. The front-facing 16MP dual-camera supports 8 types of scene recognition as well.
The Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus offers four color options to choose from – Night Black, Sakura Powder, Sapphire Blue, and Aurora Violet.
As for the Huawei Enjoy MAX, it is a large-screen smartphone focusing on audio and video entertainment. It is packed with a 7.12-inch pearl screen with a screen ratio of over 90%. The screen viewable area is 3.89% larger than the traditional 16:9 size phone of the same size, and the field of view is wider as well. The eye protection mode of the screen is certified by TÜV Rheinland and the minimum brightness is only 2 nit. Front dual speakers, plus Dolby panoramic sound technology blessing.

The back is made of a fine-grained leather design, which is not easy to scratch. It is available in three color variants of Magic Night Black, Sky White, and Amber Brown.
In terms of hardware, the Huawei Enjoy MAX is equipped with a Snapdragon 660AIE and a 5000mAh battery, which supports OTG reverse charging. The battery will be fully charged in 123 minutes only due to the 9V/2A fast charge support.
The Huawei Enjoy MAX sports a 16MP + 2Mp dual-camera on the back. It also supports Huawei’s self-developed algorithm to identify 22 kinds of 500+ scenes and objects and automatically adjust parameters.
The Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus 4+64GB version sells for 1499 yuan ($216), the 4+128GB version is available at 1699 yuan ($245), the Huawei Enjoy MAX 64GB version costs 1699 yuan, while the 128GB version is priced at 1999 yuan ($288). They are available for pre-order even now. But the first model to go on sale on October 20 is the 64GB of the latter. The 4+128GB variant will be available for purchase on November 1.
