Chuwi Hi9 Plus

The Global Sources Expo in HongKong will already open its doors tomorrow on October 18th and of course you will find a Chuwi brand booth there too, specifically located at 1K06. And of course they will be showcasing their new convertible 2-in-1 tablet Chuwi Hi9 Plus there, but can it perform successfully against Windows 10 Surface tablets and iOS tablets ?

Chuwi Hi9 Plus is equipped with a 10,8-inch IPS with 2.5K resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, reaching quite high 280 PPI pixel densite, higher than the 264 PPI of the iPad Pro and 217 PPI of Surface GO. And of course offering the OGS full lamination technology for the best display effect possible. Check the small comparison table below.

In terms of performance the Hi9 Plus is bringing the deca-core Helio X27 processor with cores up to 2,6 GHz paired with the Mali-T880 GPU clocked at 875 MHz, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. But you can also easily expand the internal memory with up to 128 GB TF cards. The metal body of the tablet is pretty thin with 8,4mm, but still offering pretty beefy 7000 mAh battery capacity, which should theoretically play continous video clip for over 10 hours, thanks to super-capacity batteries with advanced MiraVision tech.

Chuwi Hi9 Plus is also not shying away from the office work, because it’s equipped with a docking interface for an optional keyboard and supports the Chuwi H3 stylus, which is an 1024-level high precision one recognising writing and painting angles less than 30 degrees. Connectivity is also pretty extended thanks to dual band Wi-Fi and dual SIM 4G LTE dual standby slots. And the tablet is sitting comfortable in the middle concerning weight, being 500g compared to 477g of iPad Pro and 522 of Surface Go.

Speaking about the competition it’s quite clear the Chuwi Hi9 Plus will be much more affordable option compared to these two, because it’s going to be sold for just $199. You will find it soon on most of the major e-commerce platforms including Gearbest, Aliexpress and Amazon.
