OnePlus 6T Indian pricing leaked; starts at Rs 37,999 ($516USD)

We’re about 12 days away from the launch of the OnePlus 6T, when all of our questions of the upcoming device will finally be answered. But 12 days is a long time in the smartphone space, and rumours will surface. The latest leak reveals what could well be the price of the OnePlus 6T, along with the expected variants that the smartphone will come with.

There are only a few days left till we get the hands on to the OnePlus 6T. Meanwhile, there can be a lot of gossips circulating on the media about the forthcoming device. However, all we know by so far is the price tag of the smartphone and the other forms that it is going to showcased with.

Already there’s a leak out by Ishan Agarwal, who recently teamed up with MySmartPrice to get the detail of the device. The leak suggests that the price tag that OnePlus 6T will be carrying in India is assumed to be Rs 37,999(i.e $516USD) for the 6GB RAM / 128GB storage variant, also for the 8GB / 128GB form it raises to about Rs 40,999(i.e $558USD) and lastly for the 8GB / 256GB option it is Rs 44,999(i.e $612USD). So evidently the prices are going to be hike comparatively to the OnePlus 6 which had initially the price of Rs 34,999(i.e $ 475USD).

Moreover, the above leak also states the fact that OnePlus has eliminated the 64GB storage option as its base variant which also points out that the minimum storage option that the average users are expecting has gone up to 128GB as the OnePlus smartphones does not permit external storage so presumably that is why users have looked to the option of switching to 128GB. Nevertheless, the small margin of Rs Rs 3,000 between 6GB / 128GB and 8GB / 128GB variants can be overseen with a small elevation in RAM.

The OnePlus 6T is scheduled to be launch on October 30 and is expected to be surfacing in India on 2nd of November. In addition to that the phone is believed to come with Android 9 Pie out of the box and a waterdrop-style notch, in-display fingerprint sensor and Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC.
