Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 to sport a dedicated AI button

Today, Xiaomi officially announced that Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 will be equipped with a convenient dedicated AI button. With one click, users can wake Xiaomi Ai. Xiao Ai is a smart voice assistant that comes with Xiaomi’s flagship smartphones. With Xiaomi Ai, a single sentence can help you execute a lot of functions. You can send a text, off the light, make a call, set the alarm clock and more. This phone is coming in two days but it appears that we already know all we need to know.

An official poster shows that the launch event for this smartphone will be at the Forbidden City (Palace Museum). The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 focuses on “one technology, one art”, which coincides with the artistic atmosphere of the conference venue. This is the first of such event in the Palace Museum. The Beijing Palace Museum came into existence on October 10, 1925 (before then, it served as Chinese emperors palace). It is a comprehensive Chinese museum built on the foundations of the Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty and its collections. It is also the largest museum of ancient culture and art in China.

Besides its slide-screen design, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 may come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. A 10GB RAM variant of this smartphone is also in the works. This will be the first-ever Xiaomi smartphone with 10GB RAM.

A recent screenshot of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 multitasking page shows that the Mi MIX 3 display has a resolution of 2340 × 1080 while its aspect ratio is 19.5: 9. This makes it the first Xiaomi OLED screen with a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. Compared with its predecessor, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S, the Mi MIX 3 is thinner while its screen resolution is better (Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S uses 2160×1080 and the screen aspect ratio is 18:9). This smartphone will support a faster wireless charging than the Mi MIX 2S and it will come with 960 fps video capability.

Not only that, Xiaomi MIX 3 will be the first to support 5G network. At present, Xiaomi mobile phone has successfully opened 5G signaling and data link connection. In addition, Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 has a better selfie camera. It comes with a 24MP front-facing dual camera setup. This is the first Xiaomi phone in the MIX series with a dual front camera set-up.
