Starting from October 22, 2018 Qualcomm 5G Summit has been officially held for three days. VIVO as an important partner of Qualcomm for many years was invited to attend as well. On the meeting day, Wei Zhou, the Head of Vivo Artificial Intelligence Global Research Institute, in his speech revealed some interesting information concerning not only their cooperation with Qualcomm but also upcoming VIVO phones.
In the speech, he said the deep integration of 5G and artificial intelligence will become an important trend. Artificial intelligence gives smartphones learning and thinking abilities, while 5G gives more powerful connection and communication capabilities. So the combination of the two will make smartphones evolve from ‘small intelligence’ to ‘great wisdom’, bringing users more powerful functions and more extreme experience.
