Realme has revealed that they are planning to launch a new phone by mid of December. Fresh info coming from official channels is that the brand will be the first to use the just out MediaTek Helio P70 chipset on one of its phones. Recently, the new one-year-old smartphone maker spun off from Oppo to become a standalone brand.
Realme India’s CEO Madhav Seth spoke to BGR India at the IMC 2018 saying that the new upcoming phone is going to be a different phone than its predecessors Realme 2 or 2 pro and he further added that the new device could be showcased by mid of December 2018.
The new phone is expected to be the first Helio P70 chipset in the world. Just a day ago, the new Helio P70 chipset was unveiled by MediaTek. The chipset is the successor to Helio P60. It is built on a 12nm FinFET process and is assisted with a multi-core APU (AI processing unit) clocked at 525MHz for AI application.
