Today some of Samsung’s insiders have detailed its plans for the early part of 2019 – The report has been given to the folks at Bloomberg and brings some details about the upcoming family of Galaxy S10.
According to it, Samsung will indeed come with three Galaxy S10 devices, one which could feature 12GB of RAM and pack 5G connectivity. Also, the company should finally show its foldable smartphone, the Galaxy F, to the public.
The first unit of Samsung’s 2019 flagship will be a 5.8-inch Galaxy S10 with dual-curved AMOLED screen, triple cameras on the back, in-display fingerprint scanner and an in-display front-facing camera. The Plus model will be essentially the same, with the difference, of course, being a larger display.

The affordable Galaxy S10 (or S10 Lite) will have a FLAT AMOLED display and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. While the report didn’t specify the number of cameras, this entry flagship should come with a single unit on the rear.
When it comes to the foldable Galaxy smartphone, the company will be targeting on a specific niche. The move will be similar to the adopted with the original Galaxy Note Edge, which had limited availability to test demand. Since no company has unveiled a foldable smartphone, Samsung can take the lead of this new trend.
The report also states that Samsung still hasn’t made a decision about the Headphone Jack. While the upcoming devices may ditch the legacy port, the company is still concerned with the customer’s preference for it, so the decision will be pushed further back.
