During the recent Hong Kong Global Sources exhibition we have seen the release of the CUBOT Quest as the world’s first sports phone, but the brand of course had some other aces up their sleeve. So aside the new sports rugged phone we got shown the new Bluetooth speaker named CUBOT E1 and it’s looking pretty good and promising.
CUBOT E01 will be pretty compact with 168mm height, 75mm diameter and 390g of weight, but still will be able to provide 12W (2x6W) of output power and 2 bass diaphragms. Thanks to the 2200 mAh battery capacity it should last for more than 8 hours on a single charge and will offer Bluetooth 4.2, speaker impedance 4 Ω and frequency range 60Hz~18KHz.

And because it has the TWS technology (True Wireless Stereo) you can wirelessly connect two E01 speakers together to form a stereo sound system. As a bonus the CUBOT E01 also has the IPX6 waterproof certification so you don’t have to be afraid of a bit of water at all. It should be hitting the market pretty soon and we will report back with the official pricing when it’s available.
