Today Google took the wraps off a new update for its ARCore which included support for several Android smartphones, and surprisingly four Apple devices.

The folks at AndroidPolice spotted on this update, that at least four Android Phones were released with ARCore support straight ou the box – Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Huawei Mate 20, and Mate 20 Pro. However, this update also includes support for LG G7 One, Nokia 7.1, Vivo X23, LG V40, Huawei Y9 2019.

When it comes to Apple devices, Google introduced support for the first time to Apple 9.7-inch an iPad Pro with 10.5-inch. Owners of the recently released iPhone XS and XS Max will also be happy to know that ARCore is also coming for these devices.

ARCore is Google’s platform for Augmented reality features. It allows users to insert 3D Animated content in the user’s camera view. In the future, we hope that AR will be advanced enough to help in working environments and more.
