Huawei’s subsidiary Honor is expected to unwrap the Honor Magic 2 in about 48Hrs from now, and that means we should be seeing more leaks about the device in the meantime. Right on cue, an unnamed Honor made smartphone has just popped up on the Geekbench database with specs that aligns it with the rumoured Honor Magic 2.
The alleged Honor Magic shows up in the database as the Huawei TNY-AL00 with SoC details that point to the Huawei’s latest Kirin 980 coupled with 8GB of RAM, and Android 9.0 Pie as the operating system. Interestingly, the single-core and multi-core scores revealed here are both not too far from the scores of the mate 20 series, with the differences likely due to the prototype hardware. The Honor Magic 2 is expected to be the second device to debut with the Kirin 980 SoC, so they are both expected too to put forward similar performance scores.
