Waze is one of the most popular and intuitive platforms for GPS navigation. Today a new update is being deployed for the app improving the experience with a new embedded audio player. The inclusion of a native Audio Player will allow the users to expand the experience and hear their favorite audio services without the need of closing the Waze App.
After flashing the new beta update users will be able to enjoy streaming services such as Deezer, Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn, Scribd, Stitcher, and NPR. The embedded audio player is pretty simple to use, and allow users to pick their preferred streaming platform through a small bubble icon on the screen. Playback will start automatically, negating the need to launch a separate app or having to deal with the service interface while driving.

Of course, the embedded audio player won’t work without the separated application for each service installed on your device. If you want Deezer working in Waze, for example, you’ll need to have the full Deezer app and your account signed on the service. The Waze Audio Player then gains control over the respective service’s volume and playback controls.
To test the new feature all you need to do is sign up for Waze Beta program. After you’re fully enrolled in the program, the Waze app will be automatically updated to the current version that supports the Audio Player. Enjoy the improved driving experience hearing your best playlists.
