During the last month, Xiaomi unveiled the Mi 8 Lite as a cheaper variant of its recent flagship. The device was released as a China exclusive device, although a teaser indicated that the Chinese firm would expand the availability to the rest of the Globe.
Today, Donovan Sung, global spokesperson of the company, said on Twitter that France will, alongside Ukraine, be the first countries of the “Global” plan to receive the smartphones. Other regions will soon be contemplated with the shiny Mi 8 Lite.

The device comes in three color variants – Twilight Gold, Dream Blue, and a Deep Space Gray unit. According to Sung, all the three colors will hit the global scene, in what he describes as “some colorful mixes.”
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite boasts a Snapdragon 660 chipset with RAM/Storage options – 4GB/64GB, 6GB/64GB, and 6GB/128GB. The device is part of the Notch army with a 6.26-inch notched FHD+ display, there is a dual-camera sensor on the back and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
