Panasonic has revealed its new low-cost smartphone the ‘P85 NXT’ in India today. The new smartphone is now available at different leading stores carrying a price tag of Rs 6,999 ($98 approx) throughout the country.
The P85 NXT appears to arrive in three distinct colours such as Gold, Blue and Black. The new device sports a display of 5-inch HD and a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels addressed with 2.5D curved glass. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla glass. Moreover the phone is run by 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor; however, the chipset that it will carry is still unknown. On top of that phone is fueled by an impressive 4000mAh battery with an option of reverse charging to help charge other devices and also the phone arrives preloaded with Arbor Hub.

Furthermore, the new Panasonic phone is equipped with 2GB of RAM assisted by 16GB of internal storage which is extendable to 128GB with a microSD card. Coming to the imaging department, the new phone is furnished with an 8MP rear camera and at front, it carries a 5MP front selfie camera.
The new P85 NXT is backed by an older version of Android 7.1.2 Nougat which is not usually installed in current devices. However, there is a fingerprint sensor at the back and in addition to that, it also has a face unlock feature. Speaking of connectivity options, the phone is compatible with 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, AGPS, GPS, FM radio, Dual-SIM and micro USB port. The phone dimension is about 141.7 x 70.8 x 9.3mm and it weighs to be around 174 grams.
