Earlier on this month, HMD Global confirmed that an Android Pie update would be released for the Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 8 and 8 Sirocco. The update is promised for late November, and when it arrives Nokia will have at least five smartphones running the latest version of Android, that including the Nokia 7 Plus that is already rocking Pie.
Today, in a sudden move, the Finnish company announced that more devices will soon be contemplated with Android Pie. The list includes the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6. The last year’s handsets will probably receive the update along with the other batch of Nokia devices in late November.
Nokia 3, 5, 6 and 8 of 2017 will also get 🥧. This hopefully helps understand why everything cant happen at the same time https://t.co/k6GWhHFTMM

The company is doing a great job few months after Android Pie release. Until the end of the year, HMD Global expects to have eight devices running the latest version of Google’s OS, and that amount is bigger than any other manufacturer.
HMD Global has been building a solid reputation due to this update track record. Although many devices have been released during this year, the company didn’t forget its older devices. With the full adoption of the Android One program by its entire portfolio of smartphones, devices from the company is a good option for those who love constantly Android updates.
