OnePlus 6T goes in Guinness Record books for 559 simultaneous unboxings


OnePlus got into history books by setting up a mega OnePlus 6T unboxing event where the highest number of smartphones were unboxed in a single place at the same time. Lots of community members were given the privilege to unbox the smartphone on its very first day which went into Guinness World Record books.

Also, later on it was revealed publicly that 559 unboxings took place at the event . The attempt started at 8:30 p.m on November 1st in India just after a couple days after the launch of the OnePlus 6T. The event took place at Richardson and Cruddas in Mumbai. Not only the community members but celebrities like Bani J and Brodha V were invited to grace the occasion.

Rishi Nath, GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS Adjudicator, said that at OnePlus they keep on working to build an immersive user experience which are far more relevant from making the record attempt, however, unboxing a new phone is a memorable moment for OnePlus and that was an overwhelming moment to see hundreds of people brought together for the grand unboxing.

Speaking of its availability, the OnePlus 6T comes at a price starting from Rs. 37,000 to Rs. 45,000 depending on the selection of variant. The new device can be bought from Amazon and any OnePlus or Croma stores.
