Vivo could be announcing a new device named Vivo Y95 in the upcoming days in India, says a new exclusive report from 91mobiles. The new phone is an addition to the Vivo Y series and will fit in between Vivo Y93 and Vivo Y97. The publication suggests that Vivo will bring the Halo notch to the sub-15,000 segment in India with the Vivo Y95, citing sources from the retail chain.
Evidently, In India mobile industry is more focused in sales of mid-range devices. On one hand, mobile companies like Xiaomi and Honor are satisfied with their sales of mid segment smartphones and on the other hand, Oppo and Vivo are still struggling. Recently everyone’s eyes are on the new comer ‘Realme’ an Oppo sub-branch which has already shocked the industry with its sales. Comparatively to Vivo Y95, the Realme 2 pro primary variant is better at specs and has the same price as that of new phone.

Speaking of appearances, the new phone is a replica of Vivo Y83 with a slight change in the notch, making it a bit smaller and it features dual rear camera and additional internal storage. The new devices boasts a 6.2 inch display fixed with a Halo notch where the front 8MP camera sensor will fit in. Also, it sports a dual rear camera of 13MP+5MP at the back with a fingerprint scanner. The phone is anticipated to run by MediaTek Helio P22 chipset and a decent 3,260 mAh battery. The phone is backed with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage memory which is of course extendible with microSD.
