Xiaomi officially entered the UK market, Q3 global shipments exceeded 30 million units


Recently, Xiaomi held a press conference in the UK to announce the official entry into the UK market. This is the fourth country in which the company has reached in Europe after Spain, France and Italy.

At the press conference, the company launched the Mi 8 Pro flagship mobile phone, Bracelet 3, red rice Redmi 6A mobile phone and electric scooter.

Like Xiaomi in other overseas markets, the products launched in the UK also focus on cost-effective strategies. The 8GB+128GB version of the Mi 8 Pro is priced at £499.99 (about $652), the Bracelet 3 is priced at £26.99 (about $35), and the Electric Scooter is priced at £399.99 (about $522).

According to the latest data from Counterpoint, Xiaomi global shipments in the third quarter has reached 35.7 million units, up 25% year-on-year, making it one of the fastest growing mobile phone manufacturers in the world.

According to the latest report from Canalys, in the third quarter, Xiaomi’s shipments in India reached a new high of 12 million units, a year-on-year increase of more than 30%.
