Pocophone F1

Xiaomi’s most successful flagship killer the Pocophone F1 brings a decent amount of specs for a really low price. The device has some drawbacks, of course, this is expected, after all in order to bring a good package of power for such a low price, the company had to cut some corners. According to a new report, Xiaomi will start to sell the Poco F1 in South Korean on November 19 through SK Telecom, KT and LG U+.

The variant of the Poco F1 will be the one with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of Storage. The handset will cost KRW 430,000 (~$380,72). The handset boasts a 6.18-inch notched IPS display with 2246×1080 pixels of resolution. The processing power is ensured by the almighty Snapdragon 845. There is a dual 12MP+5MP camera setup on the rear and a 20MP selfie snapper on the front. The handset counts with a USB Type-C port but retains the 3.5mm headphone jack. It ships with Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI running atop. Worth noting that an Android Pie update is coming soon for the handset.

The handset broke Flipkart’s record in India for the fastest-selling flagship with nearly 70 thousand units sold in just 5 minutes. The Chinese company is expanding its aggressive pricing strategy in other countries of Europe as well. The Pocophone is a good choice for those who can’t afford for more expensive flagships, but want a smartphone that won’t fail on their hands.
