Samsung’s foldable phone to come in March for about $2,000

Samsung is expected to introduce its first smartphone equipped with a foldable screen ‘Infinity Flex Display’ next March as the Samsung Galaxy F at a very high price.

Samsung made a strong impression with the presentation of the Infinity Flex Display, the foldable screen that should equip a device that can take the form of a smartphone or tablet, depending on whether it is folded or unfolded.

The Korean manufacturer has promised to launch this new product in 2019, and it will not wait very long according to Yonhap, the Korean news agency.

According to a report released by the agency, Samsung Electronics has planned to launch its first foldable smartphone in March, under the name Galaxy F, in addition to a Samsung Galaxy S10 5G compatible variant. This event would be scheduled one month after the presentation, in February, of the classic Galaxy S10. Galaxy F should not be compatible with 5G.

For the launch of its Galaxy F, Samsung would push all the price limits known for a consumer smartphone. According to the press agency, the device would be marketed for 2 million won (about $1770). This price would place it above the iPhone XS Max.
