As everybody and every dog knows, Apple launched the new lineup of iPad Pro 11 and iPad Pro 12.9 tablets two weeks back in the US. Well, both tablets are now coming to India as well, starting on November 16th.
The iPad Pros 2018, as the names suggest, are available in two variants: an 11-inch and 12.9-inch. These iPad Pros are much smaller and thinner than their predecessors at just 5.9mm of thickness, around 15% thinner than before.
Apple’s new eight-core A12X Bionic processor with its Neural Engine technology then powers the two tablets which can store up to 1TB of files – at least on paper.
On the new iPads we then get a Face ID recognition system instead of the fingerprint scanner, through the use of a TrueDepth camera setup first seen in the iPhone X.
Apple also improved the Pencil, it can now be wirelessly charged instead of sticking out from the lightening port, plus it also attaches to the iPad magnetically so that it stays firmly in place.
