The game industry is growing rapidly. That’s why many smartphone makers have started looking at it as a source of income generation. Some of them have launched game smartphones. Among them, we can mention the Xiaomi Black Shark (and its predecessor, Helo), the ASUS ROG game phone, Razer Phone/Phone 2, and the Nubia Red Magic (aka Red Dev). But the latter has faced some difficulties in terms of competition because it is packed with a Snapdragon 835 chip, which is powerful but outdated. To fix this, the company has been making another model with a Snapdragon 845. Many have been thinking it will be called the Nubia Red Magic 2, but today we learned another thing. Seems it will be called the Nubia Red Magic Mars.
Today, on November 15, the Master Lu benchmark’s official Weibo channel released a screenshot of a smartphone with a codename of Nubian model NX619J. Many have been thinking it’s the next-gen Nubia Red Magic phone but there was no official confirmation. Later the general manager of Nubian Smartphone announced their new machine will be called the Nubia Red Magic Mars E-sports Smartphone. And it’s going to be the same NX619J.
