Realme 2 and Realme C1 get November security update

OPPO Realme 1

Two latest smartphones from Oppo’s sub-brand Realme are currently receiving software supports. Users of the Realme 2 and Realme C1 report that both devices are now getting a new firmware update with the RMX1805EX_11_A.19 model number.

While the expectation is an update that bumps the OS to Android Pie, the latest update sadly is still based on Android Oreo, but fixes a number of bugs, while also bumping the security level to November 2018.

The rollout is an OTA, and appears to be rolling out gradually, as only a few users of both devices have so far reported getting the OTA update. You can as well try downloading the update manually by going to Settings > System > System Update > Check for update.
