The Redmi Note 5 Pro which was released in the beginning of this year costs Rs 14,999 (4GB RAM + 64GB storage) variant will now cost Rs. 13,999. Also, the 6GB + 128 storage variant which earlier cost at Rs 16,999, is now priced at Rs. 15,999. One noticeable fact that in May, the company had increased the price on Note 5 Pro because of the changes implemented on PCBA import taxes and falling value of rupee in the market. This means that now the company has brought down the price on Note 5 Pro to its original price (launching price) of Rs 13,999.
Coming to Redmi Y2 (4GB+64GB), the phone cost now at Rs 11,999 after the cut down from Rs 12,999. Lastly speaking of Mi A2, the (4GB+64GB) variant is currently priced at Rs 15,999 and the (6GB + 128GB) is now priced at Rs 18,999. Digging more on the cut prices, the company motive is to provide customers with honest pricing and they are happy with the 5% + profit margin from the sales of any hardware devices. However, there are no cut downs on the prices of Redmi 6 series phones which were recently increased by Xiaomi.
